Life screams by so fast, doesn't it??

Our blog is all about connecting the dots of daily life....

And helping our long distance family stay connected to us.

I'm not that good at baby books so decided this would be a good place to leave a polka dotted trail of Sy's childhood...

So that 20 years from now, we can look back and see what was going on in the daily life of our little family.

A bread crumb trail so to speak!

You are welcome to drop in anytime and see what we are up to.

Merry Christmas! {A Cousin Christmas}

Almost two weeks of cousins craziness and fun in Texas this year! It was action packed and giggle-fest infused. Made me even more ready than before to bring baby #2 into our family mix. Sylas had so much fun playing with his cousins 24/7! It's fun times 4 when there are four kids in one house, that became apparent very quickly to Sylas.
Christmas Eve was full of fun memories for the kiddos...
Grandpa D as Santa Clause passing out ONE present to open before the grand opening ceremony in the morning.....
Putting "Princess Megan" to bed.... and the whole family singing her to sleep with Silent Night by candlelight
(a DeBriere tradition passed from Princess Katy to the newest Princess)
Grammy D reading "The Night Before Christmas" to all the kids...
Aunt Cake putting out cookies and milk for Santa....
The boys sprinkling "Reindeer Food" in the front lawn in case Santa's crew gets hungry...
 Uncle Brade tracking Santa on Google maps, putting up on the big screen tv for everyone to see.
The kids were wide eyed with wonder

I finally put my little wide eyed wonder to bed. We snuggled under the covers and Sy chattered on and on about Santa coming down the chimney and eating cookies and milk and delivering presents...I wondering if he would ever fall off to sleep. And then a Christmas miracle happened...he was snoring!
