This Thursday I'm Thankful for so many things....we've been dreading this week for a long time because Daddio is traveling for work. This week has loomed over my head for the past few weeks, wondering how Sylas and I are going to make it w/o having Daddio with us in the evening to play, give baths and make us laugh. We always look forward to him coming home each night....and just about smother him as soon as he walks in the door :0)Well God is Good...and heard our prayers for "HELP!!!!" this week :0)
It has been a full week of warm sun shiny days...which is just what I needed to give me the strength and grit to be a single mom for the week. God knows me so well...He knows that I operate best on SUNSHINE!!! And that is exactly what He has provided.
So THANKFFUL for that!
Sylas and I have gotten along great (aside from one little mishap involving Nutter and rolling in something really smelly Sunday nite...ughhh, any bids out for Nutter???) Anyway, we've gotten along great with lots of picnic lunches and long trips to the park. Today was especially nice with picnic lunch and then exploring the portage bikeway....sitting on a bridge and throwing leaves into the water, watching them float along the river. Sy loved that and it kept him hard at work for at least a half hour. Collecting leaves and running back to the river. A stray train would steam by ever now and again as well...which was another highlight of our afternoon. So thankful this Thursday...thankful for a great week, thankful for the SUNSHINE, thankful that Daddio will be home SOON!!! We miss you Daddio!
P.S. Thankful for by Big Sis.....Happy Birthday today, Aunt Ha. We love you!

Send Nutter Bean to Me-Me's House. So glad you had a good week with Mr. Sun and Mr. Sy. Now next week is my week will all of you and I can't wait. I don't care if there is sun, rain or snow -- it will be great to be in Michigan and with all of you. Look out cherry orchards, here I come.
