Momma Said There'd be Days like this....

We had one of the most picture perfect days at the beach as a family of three recently....it was one of those days that just feels good all the way around. We decided that the weather was just too gorgeous to do anything else but head to the beach. So we started packing the car and headed west!


A perfect blend of the things we love....
the outdoors
great weather
a lake michigan beach
spending time together
free flowing play
sunshine
picnic lunches
napping in the sand
playing at the park
a stroll down tree lines streets
a toy store stop
and ICE CREAM!!
 
Yep, South Haven was pretty good to us...and so was Sylas. He even took a nap under the sun shade so Mom and Dad could enjoy some "off duty" time at the beach. It was pure bliss....when the snowy weather starts to get the best of me this winter. This is one of those days I'll think about and remember....no matter how long the winter, spring (and better yet SUMMER!) is sure to follow.

South Haven is a fun place to hang-out. I love to visit the beach, especially with Sy, Sarah and Seth. Looks like you had a special day with the family. Yes,Winter is just around the corner but it can bring Michigan memories when you get snowed-in. I will just have to make a Winter visit and get snowed-in with you. Love MOM
