Life screams by so fast, doesn't it??

Our blog is all about connecting the dots of daily life....

And helping our long distance family stay connected to us.

I'm not that good at baby books so decided this would be a good place to leave a polka dotted trail of Sy's childhood...

So that 20 years from now, we can look back and see what was going on in the daily life of our little family.

A bread crumb trail so to speak!

You are welcome to drop in anytime and see what we are up to.

Sy's Swing Set!

As promised...here are some photos of our big week with MeMe and PaPa! On Saturday MeMe and PaPa built Sylas a swing set for the backyard. It was a full day's work to say the least....but who can be surprised that MeMe and PaPa got it done? They are two of the hardest working people I know, too bad not much of that rubbed off on me!

It rained, it shined, it got cold, then warm again...and they kept on at it! At about 5:30 that evening, the job was well done and we all sat down for a warm bowl of  tex mex soup.

We got such a great deal on the swing set...that we were able to dec it out with some new extras. MeMe bought new swings to match the canopy and PaPa supplied the horse. The horse is yet to be named, but I'm certain Sylas will come up with a great name for our new horse in due time.

Sylas loves the steering wheel in the fort and we've spent several afternoons out on the play set already. He loves swinging in my lap and often giggles with pure glee when we go up high. He also loves letting objects, mostly balls, go down the slide. After all the balls are sprinkled in the lawn from making the trip down the slide...he sits up tall in the fort and tells me "get'em". Translation: Go collect all the balls, bring them to me, so I can do it all over again!

Thank you MeMe and PaPa for all your hard work!
