Life screams by so fast, doesn't it??

Our blog is all about connecting the dots of daily life....

And helping our long distance family stay connected to us.

I'm not that good at baby books so decided this would be a good place to leave a polka dotted trail of Sy's childhood...

So that 20 years from now, we can look back and see what was going on in the daily life of our little family.

A bread crumb trail so to speak!

You are welcome to drop in anytime and see what we are up to.

Thankful Thursday {Healing}

I'm so thankful that we are seeing the end of this long stent of Sylas not being able to walk! The past few days we have seen lots of progess in his healing and he is starting to use his foot more.

I just knew in my heart that one day he would turn to me and say "owie, all gone!" and start walking again. And that is exactly what happened a few days ago. We were in the kitchen working on lunch and he started hobbling around by himself, flat footed telling me "owie, all gone!"..with his arms in the air like where did it go?

It did my heart good to see how much better he is doing.

I'm still looking forward to seeing his little feet sprint across the room at 90 miles/hr, Sy's usual pace. But I know that God has his healing hands on Sy's foot and knows when it is best for that to happen.

For now, I'm so thankful for the progess we've seen these past few days.

Today he took my hand and told me to "Go! FAST!!" So we hobbled along at Sy's new "fast" for now...but I know that very soon he will be back to his usual fast that I remember from these recent pictures...90miles/hour, far out in front of me, hard to catch up with him, FAST!

Long awaited news. Thank you Jesus for helping Sy get better. He has just been resting up so when Grandma Me-Me gets there he can run a race with me. Love to All
