New Years Eve started with a trip to Chuckie Cheese....Sy's first C.C. experience.
I am hoping, hoping, hoping that we don't have brand recognition for C.C. after this one trip...
but something tells me it's a done deal.
We played a few of the classic hammer games....I am hoping, hoping, hoping that we don't have brand recognition for C.C. after this one trip...
but something tells me it's a done deal.
Sy's favorite event was probably just putting coins in the slots....he would put them in one right after the other if we weren't watching closely
And getting long strings of tickets was lots of fun too...
And then back home for the New Years Party.....with a Treasure Chest Pinata full of CANDY!!
You can just see the ANTICIPATION in these little faces....
CANDY...CANDY...CANDY!!!
MAYBE they'll make it until midnite with the sugar high???
Every one dropped to the ground to grab fistfuls of candy....except our Sylas.
He kind of looked at me like...what is GOING ON HERE??
Another first before ringing in the new year....chuckie cheese and pinatas. Maybe too much in one day?!
He held one little piece of candy in his hands with a smile...then handed it back. No sweet tooth for Sylas yet, but I'm sure someday he'll treasure the fun of candy.
And this was the scene right after midnite....the "big kids" (adults) went outside to toast happy new year..and when we came back in, one lone soldier who was trying to stay up with us, was peacefully asleep on the couch.
