I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving and took a little time to be thankful for all the good things in this life we have.
Sylas made his first Turkey arts and craft this year...it's still hanging in our "art gallery" right now, which is the back door in the laundry room. I tape up some poster paper to the door and hand him paints and paint brushes and he creates paintings that compete with Picasso himself. I've found it beats buying one of those painting easels that you have to find a place to store when not in use!
But for Thanksgiving we decided to get a little more structured and make a turkey with hand print feathers. Sylas had alot of fun helping get the turkey shapes. Especially since the triangle is one of his favorite shapes! And then came time for the hand prints. I brushed the paint onto his hands with the paint brush and he giggled with hysteria screaming "TICKLES!!! TICKLES!!!" It was too funny.
I'd have to say that was the most favorite part of the project, getting our hands tickled with the paint brush. We were both in full giggles by the end. Oh, my little turkey, you are the biggest joy I've ever known. I'm so thankful for you, Sylas!
