Wordless Wednesday {Sy and His Posse}

Ok...I just can't be wordless on this! I want to remember this for years to come, so I'm going to elaborate. For the past few months this has been the official posse...MingMing, Barney and Elmo. At home, they play with us all day long. Sylas initiates role play with these little characters, he has pretend picnics with them, reads them books...has them talk to each other and to him, they play hide and seek, have pretend naptime...he puts them to bed with covers and pillows. It is so hilarious to watch his imagination at work. So much fun....now, admittedly by 6:30, I'm ready to stop using my character voices or have an arm full of stuffed animals to carry around. But he loves it so much, so it's worth it!
Sometimes there is even a second Elmo that is part of the group, but today we decided to give him a bath in the laundry room sink. Sylas helped with the soap and water and helped towel dry him off. Elmo spent the rest of the day in the laundry room working on getting dry. Sy and his posse checked on him intermittently throughout the day to see if he was dry and ready to play yet. It would go something like this "Check Elmo!" ...running to laundry room...."Hi Elmo!"..."WET!!!" "See you later Elmo....we'll be back!"
