Life screams by so fast, doesn't it??

Our blog is all about connecting the dots of daily life....

And helping our long distance family stay connected to us.

I'm not that good at baby books so decided this would be a good place to leave a polka dotted trail of Sy's childhood...

So that 20 years from now, we can look back and see what was going on in the daily life of our little family.

A bread crumb trail so to speak!

You are welcome to drop in anytime and see what we are up to.

"Here He Comes!"

Sylas learned a new trick at the cabin a few weeks back....climbing to the top of the couch then giving a warning by saying "Here He Comes!" and rolling down the couch cushions like a roly poly. He thought it was the best game ever. The "game" for us was making sure he didn't roll completely off the couch and blast his head on the coffee table...yeah, fun games??
The good news we quickly discovered at home, is that the cushions aren't of the same design and he can't do this trick very well at home. Aaah, sigh of relief for Mom and Dad :0)
What is so cute though, it how he is always referring to himself in third person. Must be a two year old thing, but it's so darn cute.
If he has a pretend fall or pretends to be stuck, he quickly says "Help Him!"
Or he likes to tell us "Sy is BIG" or "Sy is tired"
So cute..or should I say "Sy is cute!"

Sorry I am not there to catch "him" and I guess I should say I'm sorry I entered into the game with "him" and encourage it to continue. Oh well, I had fun rolling off the top of the couch with Sy but my fall was much greater. YIKES - becareful Me-Me.

Sorry guys, I feel responsible for teaching/encouraging this game. But we had fun rolling and laughing. Wish I was there to "Help Him"
