Life screams by so fast, doesn't it??

Our blog is all about connecting the dots of daily life....

And helping our long distance family stay connected to us.

I'm not that good at baby books so decided this would be a good place to leave a polka dotted trail of Sy's childhood...

So that 20 years from now, we can look back and see what was going on in the daily life of our little family.

A bread crumb trail so to speak!

You are welcome to drop in anytime and see what we are up to.

Happy Valentine's and Happy New Year!!

This past Sunday we celebrated Valentine's Day and the Lunar New Year. It was a perfect family day, starting with a "Dad's Pancakes Breakfast" and opening presents. I got more than I deserved this year...Sylas gave me 3 dozen roses! I'm not sure that I'm that special, but I'll enjoy them anyway! Sylas loves giving hugs and kisses and he kept having his two little figurines at the breakfast table, a cowboy and a horse give each other a hug and a kiss. It was very cute. He says "dea" for kiss and then makes the really exaggerated kissing sound. We spent the afternoon at the Kalamazoo Nature Center exploring the great outdoors-inside! Sylas loved the little turtles that were just at his level for reaching. His other favorite was the rainforest. He kept wanting to get in the water pond and saying "water" (wa-a). All in all, it was a great day to share the love of family. I love you family, it don't get no better than you!!
