Baa! Moo! Cockadoodle Doo! Sylas turned 2!!!

Happy Birthday to our little Sylas!! It was a barn yard baa-sh at the local Gymboree with all of Sy's friends. We didn't get many pictures because we were too busy celebrating....but Uncle Barry had it covered and took lots of photo ops for us. Can't wait to see those! It really hasn't sunk in yet that you are already 2 years old yet, Sylas. It seems like it was just the other day that you were learning to crawl on your knees, cutting your first few teeth, and taking 3 bottles of milk in the middle of the night! We are so proud of the little boy that you are growing up to be. Nothing makes us happier than to see you growing, learning, playing and just enjoying long days of playtime. You make us feel like the luckiest Mom and Dad in the world to have you as our son. It was so much fun watching you open the many gifts that you got for your birthday...as you opened each one and saw what it was, you're excited response was "oh, man!"...and then on to the next one saying "opa" (translation:open). As we celebrate your birthday this year, our thoughts are with your birthmother, as I'm sure they will be many times throughout your life. She has given you the best gift of all....she chose life for you Sylas, and for that we are SO thankful. So our thoughts and prayers are with her more than ever this past week, praying that she has peace and comfort and so how just "knows" that the little life she respected so much to make a loving choice for, is doing A-OK!
