As we start 2010 it is almost harder to say goodbye to this past year due to the many great memories. I really don’t ever remember feeling this way before. It must have everything to do with being a Mom and witnessing my little guy growing and changing so quickly…making it harder to let time slip by so quickly. I am thankful for the many precious moments shared with my baby boy in 2009 and am thankful for another year of new milestones ahead.
In 2010 we have some great expectations, one of those being that special phone call from our social worker telling us that we have a son or daughter…and getting to log into the computer and get that first glimpse of him or her via an emailed picture. That was an incredible moment when we first saw Sy’s little baby face and I know it will be for Baby DeB II as well. So much to look forward to in this new year ahead. Welcome 2010, we’re ready for ya!
